VIE Private Market Analyst H/F

CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA, an affiliate of Indosuez Wealth Management, is one of Switzerland’s leading banking institutions, with activities spanning wealth management, capital markets, trade and commodity finance, asset management, and commercial banking.

The platform

With approximately €12 billion in assets under management, CA Indosuez is a major private markets investor through its Tiera Capital Funds, investing mainly across Europe, North America, and Asia. The investment team makes 40 to 50 investments each year, including primary commitments, secondary transactions, and direct co-investments.

The private markets platform covers buyout, growth capital, credit, infrastructure, and secondary strategies.

Your role

• Participate in due-diligence processes for new private equity investments, including primary, secondary, and co-investments.
• Defend investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Monitor and report on existing portfolio investments.
• Participate in investment execution and structuring alongside internal and external counsel.
• Manage deal-flow and digital monitoring tools related to investments.

The Private Equity Analyst will report to a senior investment professional and collaborate with a dedicated team of investment managers and analysts, mainly based in Geneva.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree, such as an MA, MSc, PhD, doctorate, or equivalent.
• Master’s or MBA in Finance from a recognized business school or university.
• Preliminary experience investing in the private equity industry, directly or indirectly, with demonstrated knowledge of the private equity landscape.
• Experience with direct co-investments or secondary transactions is an advantage.
• Teamwork, multitasking, organization, proactivity, flexibility, and resilience under pressure.
• Ability to challenge opinions and summarize views and conclusions.
• Professional fluency in French and English, including the ability to write memoranda.
