Chief Operating Officer - Amsterdam H/F

Amundi is seeking a Chief Operating Officer based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This permanent position involves management responsibility and occasional teleworking.

Main responsibilities

• Finance: Manage monthly transfer pricing and AUM reconciliation, monitor budgets and revenues, prepare the yearly budget, oversee legal P&L and tax reporting, manage the communications budget, and maintain relationships with banks and liquidity providers.
• Legal: Report to local regulatory entities, compliance and the Group; maintain the legal cartography; review local contracts; and upload or update legal documents when needed.
• Compliance: Conduct random controls of marketing documents, participate in compliance committees, manage gifts and benefits policy, support KYC arbitration, act as a contact for internal and external audits, and develop an automated tool to track the appropriateness of legal documents on the website.
• Administrative HR: Prepare and validate employment contracts, manage onboarding, coordinate monthly payroll, oversee employee benefits, monitor absences, manage special payroll situations, and act as the contact point for MPtc.
• Office management: Oversee safety, cleanliness and the working environment; validate invoices and payments; coordinate IT equipment and providers; and support reception, printing, local events and office supplies.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in Economics or Business.
• 6–10 years of experience combining operations, corporate functions and/or finance.
• Hands-on mindset, reliability, pragmatism, problem-solving ability and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong process oversight, prioritization, time management, communication and adaptability skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, with some French.
