About Job9

Job9 is a job search engine. Openings are published in thousands of separate places — company career sites, agency listings, regional boards — and finding the right one means checking all of them. Job9 puts them behind one search, in one consistent format, with every posting linking back to the employer who published it.

There is no account to create, nothing to pay, and nothing to fill in before you can search. When a job fits, you apply on the employer's own site.

What Job9 adds

Here is what a search on Job9 gives you that visiting each career site yourself would not:

• One search instead of dozens. A single query covers openings from hundreds of employers at once, so you stop keeping a mental list of career pages to re-check every week.
• Every posting in the same shape. Employers all write postings differently. Here each one is presented the same way — role, employer, location, remote or on-site, contract type, experience level, salary where the employer states one, and field of work — so results can be filtered and compared instead of deciphered.
• One entry per job. The same role often appears on several sites at once. Job9 shows it once, not four times; a posting we cannot confidently match is held back rather than published as a lookalike.
• Only current openings. Stale postings are kept out and ageing ones are retired automatically, so results are not padded with positions that were filled months ago.
• Employers in one place. Every employer has a profile page gathering who they are and every role they currently have open.
• A straight line to the source. Every posting names its employer and links to the original announcement. Job9 puts no middleman, no sign-up wall and no fee between you and the application.
• A career tip every day. Alongside the listings, we publish our own daily advice under Career Tips — one short, practical article a day on resumes, interviews, and searching smarter, written to be acted on the same day.

Where the listings come from

From the employers themselves. The openings on Job9 are postings that employers have published on their own career pages and on public job boards we have reviewed and chosen deliberately. Job9 organises those postings and makes them searchable; it does not write them, and it always sends you to the employer to apply. The full rules — how sources are chosen, how duplicates are matched, how corrections and removals work — are in our editorial policy.

Keeping the listings current

A job board full of filled positions wastes everybody's time, so postings are time-limited in both directions: an opening that was already more than two months old at its source is not shown at all, and a posting we are carrying is retired after three months — it leaves the search results, though its page stays reachable so an old link or bookmark still resolves rather than dying.

Job9 does not control when an employer takes a role down, so a listing here can outlive the opening. Treat the employer's own page as the last word, and check there before you spend time on an application.

What Job9 is not

• Not a recruiter or an agency. We do not represent candidates, we are not paid by employers to place anyone, and no one here reads your application.
• Not where you apply. Applications happen on the employer's own site. Job9 never asks for a CV, a covering letter, or anything about you.
• Not a paid service. Searching is free and there is nothing to upgrade to.

Following jobs without an account

Since there are no accounts, keeping track of new openings works by email instead. Tell us which fields of work interest you and we will send new matching roles as they arrive — or leave the choice blank for everything.

We ask you to confirm the address by clicking a link, so nobody can sign up an address that is not theirs. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe that needs no password and takes effect immediately.

How Job9 is paid for

By advertising, and only by advertising. Adverts load only if you have agreed to them; decline, and no advertising code runs on the page at all. We do not charge employers for placement, and paying us cannot move a posting up the results — the ranking has nothing to sell.

Most listings arrive from our reviewed sources automatically, but employers and recruiters can also submit an opening to us directly. Send the details through the contact form — the role, the location, what the job involves, and where candidates should apply — and we will review it and publish it for you. It is free, and a submitted posting follows the same rules as every other listing here (see the editorial policy).

Who runs Job9

Job9 is built and run by Job9 Community. It is independent of the employers and job boards it indexes and, as set out above, is funded by advertising alone. The way to reach us — a question, a correction, a removal request — is the contact form.
