Job description
Within the Banking Services Department, you will join, depending on your profile and the department's needs, either the team dedicated to processing proprietary Forex transactions (back/middle office of the trading room at CACEIS) or the team dedicated to processing foreign exchange transactions and cash operations for clients.
The intern's main responsibilities will include:
- Entering, properly integrating, checking and paying foreign exchange and loans and deposits transactions in compliance with market cut-offs.
- Processing external and internal requests to ensure high-quality client follow-up.
- Following up with clients' counterparties and sub-custodians when funds are not received on the correct value date.
- Managing relationships with the various operational departments of CACEIS Bank Luxembourg and its branches, cash correspondents and banks involved in payments.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Specialization in financial markets.
- Knowledge of the investment fund environment and various financial market products, particularly Forex products such as Spot, Forward and SWAP, as well as Money Market products.
- A first internship in financial markets is an advantage.
- Rigorous, organized and comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment.
- Motivated by challenges and eager to learn continuously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fluency in French and English.
