You wish to gain experience in a dynamic and international environment? CACEIS offers an internship as a Client Operations Officer - Settlement Buy Side within the Custody Services department.
Your team
You will join the Custody Department, which covers settlement and delivery, custody, post-production and business support functions, mainly involving support and control activities.
Your mission
As an intern Client Operations Officer, you will manage settlement and delivery instructions, monitor them, ensure deadlines are met and control the settlement of transactions.
Main activities
- Monitor and process client instructions in internal systems for purchase, sale and repo transactions held with sub-custodians.
- Process client requests by email and telephone related to settlement and delivery activities.
- Process discrepancies and outstanding items related to your activity.
- Maintain relationships with other Custody services, including stocks, cross-functional activities, support and controls.
- Maintain relationships with other departments, including monitoring Treasury announcements with Banking Services, reporting incidents to Risk Management and liaising with Relationship Managers regarding information requests or complaints.
Profile
- You are preparing a higher-education degree at Bac +4/5 level, specializing in Finance, Management and/or Accounting.
- You have 0–2 years of experience.
- You have knowledge of financial products and different markets, including ESES, ICSD and international markets.
- You are organized, rigorous, responsive, involved and a team player.
- You have recognized interpersonal skills, a strong customer-service orientation and good analytical abilities.
- You communicate easily orally.
- You are proficient in office software.
- Operational written and spoken English is required.
