Job description

Amundi Transition Energétique (ATE) is an asset management company focused on investing in corporate and physical assets within the energy transition sector. Its portfolio includes wind and photovoltaic farms, biomass or natural gas cogeneration units, electric vehicle charging stations, and solar project developers.

As an analyst intern, you will work alongside the portfolio managers throughout the investment analysis, execution, and portfolio company monitoring processes.

  • Prepare reporting for shareholders and banking partners.
  • Analyze and execute equity investments.
  • Prepare Investment Committees.

You will report to the portfolio managers and collaborate with the wider team, including the Managing Director and Compliance and Internal Control Manager, as well as Amundi Group support functions. You may also work with external advisers, financing partner banks, sellers, co-investors, and other counterparties.

Internship benefits

This internship offers broad experience in managing energy-transition funds and an active role within the investment team. The company provides an internship allowance when the internship lasts more than two consecutive months.

Requirements

  • Education: University, business school, or engineering school.
  • Specialization: Financial engineering, project finance, or corporate finance.
  • Experience: 0–2 years.
  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge, particularly financial modeling.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, autonomy, teamwork, curiosity, and persistence.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office.
  • English language skills.
