Purpose
The Senior Director, Regional HR is responsible for leading the Regional HRBP organization across Latin America, ensuring strategic alignment, consistency and execution of people priorities across all functions and markets. This role serves as the strategic HR partner for Regional Functional Leadership while leading a team of Regional HR Business Partners that orchestrates the people agenda across the region in close partnership with Country HR Directors and Country HR Business Partners.
Beyond enabling business performance, this leader is expected to elevate the HR Business Partnering model for the future by building organizational capability, strengthening workforce planning, succession, leadership development and talent strategies, while transforming HR into a strategic business function that actively shapes organizational decisions and business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Regional HR Business Partnering Organization: Lead and develop the Regional HRBP organization across Latin America, define and evolve the operating model, establish governance and role clarity, coach Regional HR Business Partners, and build strong partnerships with Country HR Directors.
- Drive Regional People Strategy and Organizational Alignment: Partner with Regional Functional Leaders to translate business priorities into integrated people strategies, establish regional frameworks and decision-making processes, and align workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, leadership development and capability-building initiatives.
- Enable Business Transformation: Anticipate organizational needs, shape future organizational capabilities, lead organizational design and effectiveness initiatives for the LAM HQ, provide data-driven insights and strategic consulting, and act as a catalyst for organizational transformation.
- Shape the Future of HR: Design and implement a regional HR Capability Framework, build development journeys, strengthen business acumen and consulting capability, champion HR's evolution into a strategic business partner, and drive continuous innovation in HR practices.
Knowledge and Skills
- Significant progressive HR leadership experience within multinational organizations.
- Extensive experience partnering with senior executives across multiple countries and functions.
- Strong expertise in HR Business Partnering, organizational design, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning and leadership development.
- Experience leading organizational transformation within complex, matrixed environments.
