Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
Drive the implementation of best practice visual merchandising and in-store communication standards to create a strong consumer journey, highlighting product features and brand stories to drive sell-through and ensuring consistency of execution across a portfolio of stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of best practice visual merchandising and in-store communication standards across a portfolio of stores.
- Train, guide, and motivate In-Store Visual Merchandisers to deliver excellence across the market in DTC and WHS environments.
- Cascade brand and visual merchandising guidelines to store teams.
- Guide teams on consumer journeys, store layout, capacities, product density, color flow, mannequin styling, visual merchandising standards, and in-store communication materials.
- Assist in measuring and reporting retail productivity and recommend improvements.
- Use consumer profiles, retail KPIs, and the OTG strategy to guide decision-making.
- Provide field and store insights to support campaign planning.
- Ensure campaign readiness at store level, including plug-and-plays, installation permits, reporting documentation, and supplier coordination.
- Highlight opportunities to improve processes and implementation efficiency.
- Audit and order visual merchandising tools for stores.
- Gather and consolidate visual merchandising and campaign performance input for delivery to Hub and Global teams.
- Lead new store openings and oversee in-store visual merchandising support.
- Audit and report on DTC and WHS touchpoints across key Trade Zones.
- Provide visual merchandising training and in-store support for WHS retailers.
- Report on adidas executions and competitor activations based on on-the-ground analysis.
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience
- Proactive approach to strategy implementation and stakeholder communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Knowledge of retail, visual merchandising, retail marketing, and presentation.
- Strong project and planning skills with a highly organized, completer mentality.
- Understanding of store KPIs and commercial decision-making.
- Ability to translate sales and category reporting into in-store merchandising strategies.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Inspirational attitude and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Skilled in PowerPoint and Excel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in a sports or fashion customer- and commercially focused retail environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel.
- Availability for flexible schedules, including evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of stores.
- Valid Saudi driver's license.
