Senior Software Engineer (Scale-Up Phase / Air Defense Command & Control Systems)

We are growing our team for the next phase of our strategic defense industry project, further strengthening our position in the sector through our newly renewed long-term contract and are looking for Senior Software Engineers based in Ankara.

Technical Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years of proven experience in software development
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework development
• RESTful API design and integration (XML, JSON, etc.)
• Extensive experience with Angular (v10+) and TypeScript
• Experience with React is also considered valuable
• Experience with ORM frameworks and concepts, including concurrency management, loading strategies, validation, and caching
• Experience with source control and configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, TFS, ClearCase)
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and DevOps concepts
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Ability to perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Experience with front-end architecture, component-based development

• Experience with defence projects compliant with IEEE 12207
• Java
• WPF / Silverlight (XAML)
• Entity Framework, NHibernate
• WCF services implementation
• Key-value stores (HBase, Cassandra, Redis, etc.)
• Messaging queue technologies (RabbitMQ, MSMQ, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and create software specifications
• Actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
• Design and document technical solutions
• Develop and maintain applications in line with Atos processes and industry standards
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and refactoring
• Support release deployments and resolve post-production issues
• Participate actively in team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions
• Provide timely support to customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions
• Write clear technical documentation and present complex information effectively
