Who You’ll Work With

Nike’s administrative employees support teams around the world as liaisons embedded in business functions and geographies. As Senior Administrative Assistant, you will support the VP of APLA Direct, the Senior Director of NDDC APLA, and the Senior Director Nike Direct Stores APLA.

Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant who can work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with strong organization, communication, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills. The successful candidate can prioritize multiple tasks, manage confidential information, work independently or as part of a team, and adapt effectively to different leadership styles.

What You Bring to Nike

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; suitable combinations of education, experience, and training will be accepted.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities, including senior executives.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow requests through completion.
  • Previous experience working with and tracking budgets is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and virtual meeting tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with Keynote, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot is a plus.
  • Previous Nike work experience is a plus.
  • Ability to occasionally work outside core business hours.

What You’ll Work On

  • Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Book flights, accommodations, transportation, itineraries, and travel documentation.
  • Plan meetings and events, including venues, budgets, catering, agendas, reminders, and external-party coordination.
  • Prepare expense reports, track budgets, and process invoices and purchase orders.
  • Produce, edit, and reformat documents, correspondence, organizational charts, presentations, agendas, and run-of-show documents.
  • Draft and edit communications, coordinate approvals, manage distribution lists, and send communications on behalf of leaders.
  • Coordinate team space planning, workspace changes, equipment moves, and departmental moves.
  • Assist leaders with expense tracking and create purchase orders.
  • Assist with project planning, progress tracking, and deadlines.
  • Support team and culture-building activities, staff meetings, offsites, and workspace initiatives.
  • Serve as the main administrative point of contact for the team.
  • Provide temporary administrative coverage for other leaders.
