Purpose and overall relevance
- Bring consumer and sport insights into concepts.
- Execute the category direction.
- Work with all creation functions to deliver product concepts.
- Create ranges within the category from both an image and commercial point of view.
Key responsibilities
- Manage range direction proactively and propose a clear strategy for moving it forward.
- Manage product creation tasks within given time frames, with special attention to speed to market.
- Work with cross-functional and interlinked departments to enable an efficient product creation process and optimum product outcomes.
- Analyse business, draw conclusions and propose action steps.
- Prepare and present ranges and business-related topics using relevant structure and content.
- Provide input for the Go-To-Market direction and implement it into relevant ranges with GTM counterparts.
- Work independently on projects and follow up on project development.
- Build and maintain effective, trustful relationships.
- Plan and prioritize daily working time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Support day-to-day operational administrative tasks as a satellite creation team member.
Key relationships
Product Design; Product Operations and Development; Japan and South Korea Business Units; Global Lifestyle Business Unit and Go-To-Market Teams; Global Business Affairs; Global Sourcing; and external collaboration partners and accounts.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Communicate information clearly and effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of product information systems, interlinking functions and respective timelines.
- Product expertise and knowledge of the relevant product category.
- Strong analytical, solution-driven and result-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in marketing, business, textile or fashion.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Product Marketing experience with APP, FTW and ACC background.
- Experience in trade, vertical retail business models or sales is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Japanese, written and spoken, is required.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as required.
- Deep passion for sports, fashion, art, music and sneaker culture.
