Job description
In close collaboration with the accounting teams, the Accounting Controller's primary responsibilities include performing cross-functional controls across accounting processes, conducting controls for risk management, monitoring activity indicators, maintaining accounting and regulatory watch, and ensuring accounting procedures remain up to date.
- Maintain and develop the accounting control guide.
- Perform cross-functional accounting controls across accounting processes, including first-level production, regulatory and consolidated reporting, and tax declarations.
- Lead and ensure the reliability of quarterly accounting reviews.
- Report and monitor operational risks related to accounting.
- Produce second-level controls for permanent control and associated KRIs, and contribute to resolving and improving measured results.
- Ensure procedures are updated and participate in drafting the procedural framework.
- Monitor accounting and regulatory developments and assist accounting managers in implementing changes.
- Monitor implementation of internal audit and general inspection recommendations.
- Control manual accounting entries in accordance with internal control requirements.
- Establish, analyze, and monitor activity indicators.

Profile
Applicants should hold a DSCG or Master's degree in accounting, control, or audit, or have equivalent experience. The role requires 10 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in banking accounting and 2 to 3 years in operational control or supervision.
- Ability to identify, measure, analyze, and document accounting and regulatory risks.
- Strong accounting, regulatory, tax, banking, and financial knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting control methods.
- Organized, rigorous, proactive, autonomous, and facilitative approach.
- Strong listening, analytical, synthesis, planning, and organizational skills.
- Pedagogical mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Finance ERPs, and database tools such as BO and Power BI.
