Job description

Summary: U.S. GAAP accountant able to handle the timely and accurate submission of all U.S. regulatory reports required of an FBO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review quarterly Call Reports before submission to branches and regulatory agencies, including the FFIEC 002 report.
  • Prepare FR2900, FR 2915, FR2420, FR2644, TIC, and FFIEC 019 Country Risk reports.
  • Prepare FRY 7 N and FR Y 7NS reports.
  • Prepare Bureau of Economic Analysis reports, including BE-12, BE-15, BE-125, BE-180, BE-185, and BE-605.
  • Prepare U.S. GAAP adjusting entries for regulatory reports as needed.
  • Review regulatory reports with management before submission.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulators, branches, and agencies regarding filings and examinations.
  • Review the impact of new and revised reporting requirements.
  • Perform periodic compliance and industry best-practice reviews of regulatory reports.
  • Liaise with regulatory reporting industry groups and maintain contacts with regulators.
  • Maintain AXIOM reporting requirements and mappings.
  • Monitor legal ratios and define legal lending limits for Reg K and W.
  • Act as liaison between Paris and the Federal Reserve Bank regarding the FRY 7 Q filing.
  • Coordinate regulatory examinations with internal audit and Compliance.
  • Prepare responses to comments from federal, state, and internal auditors.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to other Crédit Agricole branches.
  • Assess regulatory impacts of new products and proposed or existing transactions.
  • Prepare memoranda for management on regulatory reporting topics.
  • Define technology needs and establish procedures for revised or new regulatory reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Master's degree desired.
  • 6–10 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. regulatory reporting required.
  • Knowledge of AXIOM and CPA certification desired.
  • English.
