LCL, a Crédit Agricole Group subsidiary, is seeking a Contrôleur Comptable within its Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Department in Villejuif, France.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct deployment of level 2.1 accounting control procedures across the company’s accounting areas.
- Coordinate accounting control activities within the Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Department.
- Perform controls on accounting and regulatory reporting activities.
- Participate in reviews of accounting processes before implementation.
- Manage, under the supervision of the manager, relations with Crédit Agricole SA and LCL control functions regarding the accounting control framework.
- Maintain the dashboard of control actions and monitor their resolution.
- Participate in the service’s key projects, including implementation of a new account-justification tool.
- Perform additional assignments involving statutory auditors and LCL control bodies, including inspection, compliance and risk functions.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree, preferably a Master’s degree in accounting, CCA, DESCG or equivalent.
- Knowledge of banking accounting and IFRS accounting.
- Three to five years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an audit firm or the control department of a bank.
- Strong knowledge of banking accounting under French standards and IFRS.
- Interest in IT tools, especially Office tools, Excel macros/VBA and Power BI.
- Curiosity, strong interpersonal skills, methodical approach, initiative, written communication skills and autonomy.
