Job description

Corporate Planning at Crédit Agricole Japan supports the implementation of the franchise’s local strategy and follows up on performance in direct support of the Japan Senior Country Officer. The team coordinates internal and external communication initiatives and supports the SCO with reports, presentations and speeches.

As a Communication Assistant, you will help with communication initiatives, including client and staff events, promotion of franchise activities, and strategic tasks supporting the SCO.

Your missions

• Client events: Help organize strategic client events from inception through implementation and follow-up.
• Staff events: Help organize staff events from inception through implementation and follow-up.
• Communication: Produce content for internal and, where applicable, external bank communication channels.
• Performance follow-up and SCO assistance: Help produce reports and complete ad hoc tasks supporting the Senior Country Officer.

Eligibility for the VIE

• Be under 28 years old.
• Have a Master’s degree.
• Be a citizen of the EU.

Training and specialization

A Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Communication or Media, Corporate Communication, International Communication or Political Science is required. Internships in communication or PR agencies, corporate communication departments or project management are beneficial, particularly in the finance industry.

Skills needed

Hard skills: Fluent English and business Japanese; French is a plus. Writing and editing, content creation, proofreading, project and event management, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, basic AI prompting and fact/output checking, and any proficiency with Adobe Illustrator are valued.

Soft skills: Proactive, team player, creative, conscientious and quality-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks properly.
