The dedicated investment team executes 40 to 50 investments per year, including primary commitments, secondary transactions, lead and co-investments, and direct co-investments.
Your role
As a Real Assets & Private Credit Investment Associate, you will be involved in the sourcing, analysis and execution of investments in real assets, including real estate and infrastructure, as well as private credit, with a particular focus on primary commitments into external funds.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate and execute real assets and private credit investment opportunities.
- Draft investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Monitor the existing portfolio and prepare related reporting.
- Contribute to transaction execution and structuring in coordination with internal teams and external counsel.
- Manage deal flow and maintain investment monitoring tools.
- Conduct ad hoc reviews of external funds for distribution purposes.
The role reports to the Head of Real Assets & Private Credit within the Private Markets investment team and is primarily based in Geneva.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree, such as an MA, MSc, PhD, doctorate or equivalent.
- Business School or University diploma in Finance.
- Two to five years of preliminary experience investing in private markets, directly or indirectly, with proven experience in private infrastructure and ideally private credit.
- Solid knowledge of the infrastructure sector, including its dynamics and professional network.
- Curiosity, rigor, attention to detail, teamwork, organization, proactivity, flexibility and resistance to pressure.
- Ability to challenge opinions and summarize views and conclusions.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken French and English.
