Chargé(e) Middle Office Support Trading Rates H/F

You will support the control and processing of transactions traded by the Global Market Division Front Office on Rates. You will be responsible for the daily processing of transactions, carry out reliable and effective controls, facilitate post-trade processing, and contribute to the development and automation of processes.

You will work closely with internal teams, including Front Office trading, Middle Office, Back Office, IT Support, accounting, activity monitoring, risk, permanent control and project teams.

Main responsibilities

• Produce volume, operational risk and booking-quality indicators for the Middle Office Support Trading and Sales Paris department, and contribute to automating them using VBA, Power BI and similar tools.
• Monitor business requirements documentation and contribute to its preparation.
• Review operational procedures, including procedures for new joiners.
• Participate in the daily activities of the Middle Office Support Trading and Sales teams, including risk monitoring and daily controls.
• Check the modelling of transactions initiated by the Front Office in the FO Orchestrade application.
• Control and validate deals before issuance by reconciling the order book, term sheet and Orchestrade booking.
• Coordinate between Front Office, Operations teams, Middle Office, Back Office, transversal teams and IT Support.
• Contribute to continuous-improvement and process-optimisation projects, including specifications, user testing and process documentation, in cooperation with project, IT and management teams.

Candidate profile

• Education in a business school, engineering school or computer science programme.
• Specialisation in financial markets, capital markets or risk management.
• Previous experience in financial markets is desirable.
• Skills in VBA, process optimisation, Power BI, Python and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent French and English.
