CMI Business Analyst (Senior)

Job description

As Business Analyst, you will lead and contribute to projects related to the maintenance and enhancement of the solution in collaboration with business users, developers and IT support. This covers the full cycle from requirements gathering, specifications and testing through delivery to production.

• Lead workshops with business contacts to clarify and understand requirements.
• Analyze functional impacts while considering technical constraints.
• Prepare and present functional aspects of changes and evolutions to developers.
• Support the technical development team on functional matters.
• Organize and maintain detailed functional documentation.
• Develop test strategies with project managers and Business Analysts.
• Conduct continuous testing in the development environment.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
• Analyze and solve functional problems with developers.

This position offers the opportunity to work with technical and functional subject-matter experts in the financial industry, gain exposure to the bank's latest technologies and develop finance and capital markets experience with Summit.

Qualifications and profile

Mandatory:

• At least 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a financial organization.
• Exposure to Summit is preferred, or to similar systems such as Murex, Calypso, Sophis, Front Arena, Kondor or Opics.
• Experience with financial IRD products and capital markets back-office environments, especially settlement, accounting, regulatory and reconciliation activities.
• Strong experience in functional testing and development validation.
• Hands-on technical experience with Linux, scripting, data models and SQL.

• Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams.
• Experience with back-office, front-office or market-risk systems.
• Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, Project, Visio, Jira and Git.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Training or specialization degree and above in a relevant discipline.

Minimum experience level: 6–10 years.
