Job description

This position is open for the Angers nursery program. If you are soon to graduate with a postgraduate degree in corporate finance, use your specialization in a role at the heart of companies' challenges and ambitions. As a business partner to company directors, you will support their investment projects and business needs.

Through a dedicated 20-week integration program beginning on 28 September 2026, you will receive support and training in the Corporate Affairs Officer profession before taking responsibility for a client portfolio. The training will help you develop your commercial approach and financial analysis skills so you can provide the best advice to client and prospective companies.

A fully digital recruitment day will take place in early June.

Your responsibilities

  • Working alongside an experienced Corporate Affairs Officer, take responsibility for a portfolio of corporate clients, including SMEs and mid-sized companies.
  • Act as the main contact for clients, maintain trusted relationships, respond to operating and investment needs, and advise on equity transactions, acquisitions, structured finance and international development.
  • Promote LCL Corporate Banking products and services to clients.
  • Carry out financial analysis and manage the credit and operational risks of the client portfolio.
  • Work closely with business experts throughout LCL and the Crédit Agricole Group.
  • Support the Corporate Affairs Officer with prospecting and portfolio profitability.

Dedicated training program

LCL provides training for the Corporate Affairs Officer profession through a program based within Corporate Banking. It includes mentoring, tutoring, structured finance training, risk management, exchanges with experts and a complete overview of the bank. You will also meet future partners from the Crédit Agricole Group's specialist entities in France and internationally.

After completing the nursery program, you will be assigned to a position as Deputy Corporate Affairs Officer within the Western Corporate Division.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent, preferably from a business school, university or IAE.
  • Specialization in banking, finance or financial analysis.
  • 0–2 years of experience; initial commercial banking experience is appreciated.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Knowledge of financial and strategic analysis.
  • Rigor, organization, writing, synthesis, adaptability, curiosity, commercial ability and team spirit.
  • Good French and English language skills.
