Financing & Client Services (FCS) is a global business line of Crédit Agricole CIB within the Global Financing Division. Energy & Real Assets supports clients in export finance, asset finance and complex credit transactions.

Within the Agency & Transaction Management team for Aircraft, Rail and Tax Lease Financing, you will report to the Head of Agency & Transaction Management and work closely with a 13-person team.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the implementation of asset financings.
  • Independently act as the interface between borrowers, bank syndicates and technical and legal advisers as facility agent and security agent.
  • Analyze and comment on legal documentation with transaction arrangers and legal advisers.
  • Prepare and execute transaction closings in coordination with clients, back office, banking pools, insurers and other stakeholders.
  • Verify that financing conditions comply with the credit decision issued by Risk Management.
  • Maintain client relationships throughout the life of the financing.
  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of outstanding financings, including amendments, security interests, contractual obligations, repayment schedules and secondary-market transfers.
  • Record and regularly update financing characteristics in management and reporting systems.
  • Manage the termination phase of financings, including contractual procedures, financial flows and release of security interests.

Profile

  • Master's degree equivalent to 4 or 5 years of higher education, preferably in economics and finance, with training in banking and/or legal techniques.
  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate or structured finance.
  • Ability to analyze financing contracts written in English and communicate with clients and lending banks.
  • Analytical ability, curiosity, commitment, interpersonal skills and teamwork.
  • Patience and responsiveness when facing unexpected situations.
  • Fluent English; German would be an advantage.
