Your department
Within CACEIS, the Finance business line brings together all financial functions for the Group's own account, including accounting and consolidation, management control, financial management, taxation and Finance projects.
Your role
As a Banking Accountant within the Norms & Procedures unit, you will support two Senior Experts in structuring and coordinating the Accounting department in a context of growth and transformation.
You will support accounting standards topics, including French GAAP and IFRS, Group procedures and exchanges with entities in Luxembourg and internationally.
Main responsibilities
- Participate in formalising and updating Group accounting procedures and accounting schemes under French GAAP and IFRS, and disseminating them to branches and subsidiaries.
- Contribute to preparing technical notes and presentation materials for Finance and other Bank departments.
- Participate in Accounting department projects, particularly those related to accounting system changes and regulatory or standards developments.
- Prepare materials for discussions with Crédit Agricole SA and internal and external auditors, including responses to requests, supporting arguments and documentation of accounting recommendations.
- Contribute to analyses related to Group projects, such as restructurings, international projects and new products, and prepare presentations for auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in regulatory and accounting standards monitoring and share best practices within the Finance Business Unit.
- As needed, support the preparation of Finance opinions for certain committees and contribute occasionally to internal events and workshops with other entities or regulators.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with training in finance, accounting or auditing.
- Three to five years of experience; initial accounting experience is preferred, ideally with exposure to IFRS or French GAAP.
- Ability to analyse, structure and clearly explain technical subjects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in cross-functional work.
- Rigor, curiosity, analytical skills and a willingness to learn in a changing environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite; Power BI is a plus.
- Fluency in French and English.
