Job description
You will join the International Trade and Transaction Banking (ITB) division of Crédit Agricole CIB, supporting clients with their international trade and transaction banking needs. Within the ITB Origination team, you will assist sales professionals working with large corporates and mid-sized companies on Trade Finance, Export Finance, Transaction Banking, and Receivables & Supply Chain Finance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing commercial documents and client pitches.
- Structuring proposed solutions, including pricing, profitability calculations and net banking income.
- Drafting internal requests for business committees, legal approvals and compliance matters.
- Contributing to annual reviews of client arrangements and their ongoing monitoring.
- Collecting and consolidating commercial information from internal departments and Crédit Agricole CIB’s international network.
- Coordinating the implementation of new transactions with back and middle offices, risk, legal, product experts and the global Crédit Agricole CIB network.
- Preparing and monitoring client commercial action plans, including net banking income, capital consumption and liquidity.
You will support sales teams serving a portfolio of large companies, mid-sized companies and public-sector entities. The role involves close collaboration with Coverage, product lines, structuring, back and middle office teams, and other banking functions. The internship requires commercial exposure.
Two positions are available.
Candidate profile
- Education from a university, business school or engineering school.
- Specialization in banking, finance or international trade.
- Minimum level of study: one-year Master's degree (M1).
- Experience level: 0–2 years.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English.
- Autonomy, rigor, proactivity, curiosity, analytical ability and teamwork.
