Job description

You are looking for a gap-year or final-year internship in market finance as a Sales professional. You will work in a dynamic environment at the heart of a strategic activity for CA CIB.

Integrated within the Front Office teams in Trading, Sales and Structuring, you will deepen your knowledge of financial markets. From the Bordeaux Trading Room, within the South-West division, you will support two multi-product market salespeople covering rates and placements in their daily activities:

• Pricing derivative products, including swaps, caps, tunnels, cap KOs, cap spreads, fixed-rate KOs and swaptions.
• Pricing structured products in equities, rates and hybrids, including Autocalls, Range Accruals and CLNs.
• Writing commercial proposals for institutional, corporate and regional mid-market clients.
• Writing weekly economic notes for clients and Crédit Agricole regional banks.
• Monitoring positions and the investment portfolio.
• Analysing opportunities and arbitraging existing positions.
• Managing pre-trade and post-trade operations, including client and regional-bank confirmations.
• Developing IT tools for tracking and reporting net banking income.
• Updating the Trading Room's operating procedures.
• Coordinating with the bank's Structuring, Trading, Back Office and Middle Office teams, Crédit Agricole regional banks and end clients.
• Monitoring national competition in investment offerings.
• Reporting transactions implemented or restructured within the Grand West division.

Profile

Education: University, business school or engineering school.

Specialisation: Market finance.

A first experience in equity or rates placements is desirable.

Minimum education level: 1-year Master's degree (M1). Minimum experience: 0–2 years.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages is a plus.
• Fluent French and English.
• Good economic and financial knowledge.
• Knowledge of financial markets.

• Good interpersonal skills, initiative, stress resistance and adaptability.

IT tools: Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, Reuters, Access, VBA and SQL.
