Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
- Bring consumer and sport/street insights into concepts.
- Execute the category direction and drive implementation.
- Work with all creation functions to deliver product concepts and execute strategic plans to win local markets.
- Create ranges within the category from both an image and commercial point of view.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage range direction and sharpen the creation direction within the sport/street area to create leading products winning the market.
- Propose a clear strategy for the range and execution plan, and be considered as a range expert by key relation teams and markets.
- Manage tasks within the product creation process and given time frames, with special attention to speed to market.
- Work within cross-functional teams and interlinked departments to enable an efficient product creation process with an optimum product outcome.
- Analyze business, draw conclusions, and propose action steps.
- Maintain and enable smooth product information updating using product information systems and interlinking functions.
- Prepare and present ranges and business-related topics using relevant structure and content for the respective audience.
- Provide input for setting the CtC (Concept to Consumer) direction and implement it into relevant ranges with CtC counterparts.
- Work independently on projects, follow up on project development, and be proactive, flexible, and solution driven to ensure project delivery.
Key Relationships
- Maintain strong relationships and constant dialogue and feedback with the business unit and other business units.
- Work with cross-functional teams including Design, Operations, Materials, Costing, Planning, and Process.
- Work with the FTW team to create concrete head-to-toe looks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good knowledge of the sport/street industry and local market landscape.
- Good product creation, consumer, and retail knowledge regarding different needs within the GCA market.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to cooperate effectively and develop trustful cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to plan and prioritize daily working time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good analytical skills; solution driven and result oriented.
- Ability to travel and learn quickly.
- Passion for product creation and love of fashion and sport.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- College degree, preferably in marketing, business, or fashion.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of Product Marketing experience with an apparel background in sport, street, or fashion brands; large business scale experience preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- PC skills, especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
