Job description

You are looking for an internship in finance and have an interest in the transport sector? This position is at the intersection of transportation expertise and financial advisory. You will join a Paris-based team working with lessors, operators, manufacturers and financial institutions worldwide.

As part of the TAG – Transportation Advisory Group within the ERA – Energy & Real Assets department of CA-CIB, you will support clients and execute advisory assignments involving debt, capital structure, rating and M&A in an international context.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to aviation sector expertise through trend monitoring, analysis of key operators, lessors and manufacturers, operational and financial benchmarking, sector analyses and credit analysis.
• Support execution mandates by preparing presentations and information memoranda for lenders, investors and rating agencies, conducting financial analysis and business-plan reviews, and building financial models.
• Help develop new activities and business opportunities by preparing pitches and client presentations, including market analysis, trend summaries and comparisons of major industry participants.
• Support ESG initiatives in aviation, including analysis of decarbonisation topics such as sustainable aviation fuels and urban air mobility, and comparison of stakeholders’ decarbonisation commitments and trajectories.

Requirements

• University, business school or engineering school education.
• Master’s year 1 level or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience; a first internship in financial analysis is an advantage.
• Interest in financial analysis and modelling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent French and English.
• Rigour, precision, adaptability and team spirit.
