Tasks

Mercedes-Benz AG is seeking a working student to support the development of strategic data and AI projects in Mercedes-Benz Cars Sales Germany.

• Support the technical and conceptual development of data and AI projects
• Identify, assess and prototype new AI and data-based use cases
• Use state-of-the-art technologies such as Retrieval Augmented Generation
• Work in business analytics and reporting
• Support the modelling of processes, data flows and software architectures
• Prepare presentations, concepts and decision documents for strategic initiatives and management formats
• Collaborate with business departments, project teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Qualifications

• Currently studying business informatics, computer science, data science, business administration with a technical focus or a comparable subject
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, data-driven business processes and digital solutions
• Experience with AI-supported development approaches, prototyping or generative AI tools
• Ideally, experience with AI APIs and platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini
• Basic understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation, prompting, data modelling and AI-based application development
• Knowledge of data warehouses, SQL, data preparation and reporting solutions
• Interest in software architecture and process modelling
• Very structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
• Very good German and good English skills
• Confident use of Microsoft Office; Power BI or comparable reporting tools are advantageous
