The VIE contract is an assignment in a French company operating overseas for professionals aged 18 to 28 who are nationals of the European Economic Area. Candidates already living and paying taxes in Germany are not eligible to undertake a VIE in Germany. Applications must be submitted in English, including a CV and cover letter.
In fund distribution services, the team supports fund management companies in distributing investment fund units on the domestic market to investors and CACEIS clients. The team also manages SEPA payment services and works closely with local and international CACEIS teams, clients, external parties, and other market participants.
Main responsibilities
- Process subscriptions and redemptions for investment funds and oversee the end-to-end process.
- Assist internal and external CACEIS clients with operational matters as a subject-matter expert.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare data for regulatory and other reporting purposes.
- Monitor SEPA payments, act on payments in error status, and escalate or prompt decisions where required.
- Collect and prepare data for setting up new funds and counterparties.
- Respond to inquiries, conduct investigations, provide answers, or redirect requests as appropriate.
- Resolve open settlement transactions.
- Reconcile open items and identify root causes of differences and exceptions in cash and units.
- Contribute to legal requirements and market best practices.
- Contribute to innovation and automation initiatives, projects, and testing activities.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Economics or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Zero to two years of experience; experience in fund industry, fund distribution, or payment services is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a control mindset.
- Client-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-border teams and internal and external stakeholders.
- Very good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Interest in technology and automation, such as AI solutions or VBA Excel coding, is appreciated.
- Fluent English; German skills are advantageous, or beginner German with an interest in improving.
