Job description
Within the Fund Distribution Services department, the Transfer Agent processes subscription, redemption, transfer and conversion orders for fund units within the required deadlines. The role also involves notifying fund promoters, placing orders with the target transfer agent and processing the resulting financial flows.
As a key contact for clients and managers, the Transfer Agent responds to requests and ensures the resolution of payment or securities settlement incidents.
Main activities
- Verify and process subscription, redemption and transfer orders for fund units.
- Place orders with target transfer agents.
- Perform first-level operational controls.
- Ensure receipt of NAVs from external counterparties.
- Generate transaction confirmations for investors.
- Generate preliminary notices and/or notices for managers.
- Generate and execute dividend distributions.
- Process and monitor cash and securities suspense items.
- Prepare, classify and archive files.

Training and specialization
You are studying commerce, economics, management or applied foreign languages (LEA). Knowledge of the investment funds environment is an advantage.
Skills needed
You have an interest in or knowledge of the investment funds environment, particularly transfer agency services and the flows they generate. You are able to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment with daily deadlines and have a strong customer-service orientation.
IT tools and languages
You are a proficient user of IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office. Fluency in French and English is required.
