The Planning, Allocation and Capacity Management team is responsible for central sales and production planning applications and is driving the transformation toward integrated, data-driven corporate management.

As a User Experience Designer (Agentic-AI & Simulation), you will define interactions between users, AI agents and applications, making complex simulations and AI models understandable, trustworthy and usable. You will work in a cross-functional product team developing and scaling the next generation of data-driven planning solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end user journeys for agent-based planning, from intent capture through suggestions, action options and execution.
  • Define roles, handovers and human-in-the-loop interactions between people, agents and systems.
  • Develop interaction patterns for escalations, approvals, corrections and exceptions.
  • Create UX concepts that improve trust through explainability, traceability and visibility of uncertainties, assumptions and trade-offs.
  • Visualize complex simulation results and model decisions in an interpretable format suitable for management.
  • Define UX governance principles including consistency, auditability, decision logs and context visibility.
  • Design intuitive interfaces for scenario planning, what-if analyses, optimization and simulation results.
  • Develop information architecture, visualization concepts, interaction logic, workspaces and dashboards.
  • Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes and conduct user research, usability testing and iterative validation.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into UX solutions with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Help define a scalable design system and component strategy, product vision, roadmap and backlog.
  • Own selected products or features, including prioritization and delivery coordination.

Qualifications

  • Degree in UX/UI design, human-computer interaction, psychology, computer science, media design or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience designing digital products, ideally in complex B2B, data or analytics environments.
  • Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture and conceptual UX work.
  • Experience with user research, usability testing and iterative product development.
  • Proficiency with common design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience or strong interest in UX for AI or analytics products, simulations or decision-support systems.
  • Ability to translate complex model and data logic into understandable user experiences.
  • Understanding of explainability, interpretability, uncertainty, governance and human-in-the-loop concepts.
  • Structured, empathetic and pragmatic working style with strong execution skills.
  • Experience in agile product teams and collaborative work with engineering and data teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, from user interviews to management presentations.
  • Business-fluent German and English, written and spoken.

What to expect

  • Key role at the intersection of agentic AI, simulation and decision support.
  • Significant creative scope in a strategically important and highly visible environment.
  • Interdisciplinary product-team work with direct impact on user acceptance and business impact.
  • Modern agile product development focused on scaling solutions into operational use.
