Crédit Agricole CIB's Energy & Infrastructure Group Latin America team is seeking a recent college graduate with financial industry experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, work well under pressure, understand banking and capital markets, and have a strong desire to gain professional experience in the Latin American region.
Responsibilities
- Support management of the portfolio of project finance loans to energy and infrastructure projects across Latin America, including annual reviews and materials for waivers and amendments.
- Support the Group Head and Portfolio Manager with periodic reporting to Head Office.
- Monitor the status of Know-Your-Customer reviews for portfolio clients.
- Build and review financial models based on contract terms, agreements, and economic assumptions.
- Prepare client proposals covering project specifics, indicative terms and conditions, Crédit Agricole CIB credentials, and team organization.
- Participate in preparing and executing client pitches with relationship managers.
- Prepare business opportunity memoranda and credit applications, including transaction descriptions and risk analysis.
- Complete internal worksheets and applications, including rating grids, environmental screening, and compliance items.
Qualifications
Minimum: Recent college graduate; bachelor's degree or equivalent; 0–2 years of experience; and no current or future need for visa sponsorship, including OPT or F-1 visa.
Preferred: Degree in finance, economics, or a related field; experience building and reviewing financial models; familiarity with energy and infrastructure projects; strong written and oral communication skills; and Spanish proficiency.
