Key Responsibilities
- Craft beautiful interfaces for the future of Automotive UX with meaningful integration of subtle animations and micro-interactions.
- Create visions for the future, backed by trends, competitive benchmarking, market evolution, and user expectations.
- Create concept proposals and pitches for multiple stakeholders, including top management, product owners, and designers, using impactful formats such as demo videos and showreels.
- Work closely with the development team to bring concepts to reality.
- Follow the in-house design process, guidelines, and work culture.
- Conduct design research and strategy considering global social, cultural, and technological trends.
Mandatory Skills
- Familiarity with user-centric design principles, usability theories, best practices, and methodologies.
- Ability to document design-related elements extensively.
- Expertise in Figma, Sketch, ProtoPie, and other design and prototyping tools.
- Awareness of current UI and visual design trends, in automotive and other sectors.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, innovative problem solving, and design excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in UX Design, Information Design, Visual Communication, or an equivalent field.
Preferred Skills
- 3–6 years of experience, including 1–2 years of relevant UI/UX design experience in the automotive or in-vehicle infotainment domain.
- Ability to create new concepts, understand future trends, and propose creative, usable solutions.
- Experience creating design systems, user interfaces, motion designs, animations, interactive mock-ups, and prototypes.
- Experience working in Agile corporate environments, including knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
- Excellent user experience and interface design skills with strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of hardware, software, and service design challenges across mobile and tablet form factors.
- Familiarity with driver distraction guidelines is a plus.
