Project Lead Development Core BEV 纯电平台整车研发项目管理

Tasks

• Drive and coordinate all R&D-related activities for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars on Project MB.EA-M and successor carlines.
• Lead all required development activities as Project Lead Development (PLE) according to MDS.
• Ensure that China requirements are considered for the platform from the early project phase for all China-relevant derivatives.
• Later shift the focus to the PbP vehicle ramp-up at BBAC.
• Safeguard the achievement of relevant project milestones in terms of maturity, costs, and time.
• Communicate and coordinate tasks between responsible engineers, model and commodity groups, commodity group leaders, and project management in China and Germany.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanics, automotive engineering, or a relevant field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Five years of work experience in overall vehicle development.
• Experience as a project manager, such as in vehicle launches and part development.
• Fluent English language skills; Chinese skills are beneficial.
• High level of responsibility, proactivity, and ability to deal with stress.
• Strong leadership ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Intercultural competence and communication skills with various levels and departments.
