Digital & Technology (D&T) is an integral division of HEINEKEN Global Shared Services Center, committed to making Heineken the most connected brewery through digitalized and integrated processes, best-in-class technology, and a data-driven culture.
The Technology Specialist - Azure works with an agile DevOps team to deliver releasable increments of data solutions and platform products at the end of each sprint. The role is part of the Global Planning Data & Analytics Product team.
HEINEKEN analytical solutions are created on a central Analytics Platform based on Azure cloud technology, including data lakes, Databricks, SQL/Synapse, ML Studio, Power BI, and related Azure components.
Responsibilities
- Implement data products and solutions based on business and IT requirements on the Analytics Enablement platform.
- Build data pipelines, data integration solutions, and data models following AEP and HEINEKEN standards in Azure.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience using Azure Databricks for data transformation and processing.
- Extensive knowledge of Azure Databricks, Spark, and clusters.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure SQL and Synapse for modeling and serving data.
- Experience with Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
- Knowledge of Delta Lake and Delta Live Tables.
- Expertise in ETL and transformation technologies.
- Knowledge of Python and SQL; other programming languages are preferred.
- Experience taking analytics and reporting solutions from idea and experimentation through scalable production and supportable deployments.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause identification skills.
- Experience working on complex systems, handling multiple solutions, and participating in large-scale projects.
- Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels and work effectively in a team.
- Proactivity, initiative, strong time management, prioritization, and a hands-on attitude.
- An Agile mindset and ability to work as part of an Agile DevOps team.
