Purpose and overall relevance for the organization

Design and communicate high-level structures that guide the development of integrated solutions for current and future business needs. Solution architecture includes technology components as well as changes to service, process, organization, and operating models.

Provide guidance on developing and modifying solution components so they follow relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards, practices, and security requirements, while remaining compatible with existing and planned components.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide specialist advice and collaborate with other specialists.
  • Conduct research, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and communicate findings through reports.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and contribute to technology road maps and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop solution architectures and evaluate alternatives for cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Specify cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers, and interfaces.
  • Define, prioritize, document, and manage requirements for changes and projects.
  • Design moderately complex software applications and components.
  • Design, code, test, document, amend, and refactor programs and scripts.
  • Apply data analysis, modelling, and quality assurance techniques to establish and maintain data structures.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of database and data warehouse concepts, architectures, and facilities.
  • Define integration builds, configure environments, conduct integration tests, and report outcomes.
  • Provide input on hiring and transition decisions when required.
  • Support leadership, employee development, work allocation, workload monitoring, and team direction when required.

Global IT, business functions including GOPS, Finance, HR, Brand Marketing, Wholesale and Retail, HR Management, and Controlling.

Required education and experience

  • Four-year college or university degree focused on Business Administration, IT, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient spoken and written English.
  • At least five years of IT experience.
  • Two years of experience in a relevant area.
  • One year of team management experience.
  • Understanding of different cultures.
  • Experience participating in projects with people from other functions or markets.

Mandatory skills

  • SAP IBP or SAP APO Supply Planning Module knowledge
  • SAP IBP configuration and modelling
  • IBP Excel Add-In expertise
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI-DS)
