What You’ll Do as a Security Operations Analyst
- Maintain expert knowledge of security technologies while improving processes, documentation, and system capabilities.
- Manage security tickets, triage alerts, and analyse incidents, threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage and accuracy across security tools, asset inventories, procedures, and SOC documentation.
- Lead or support incident coordination, post-incident reviews, and forensic activities with internal teams and third-party partners.
- Develop and deliver security metrics, reports, and recommendations to strengthen detection, response, and vulnerability management.
- Contribute to SOC operations, standardise processes, inform tooling decisions, and support broader cybersecurity planning and validation.
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of enterprise cybersecurity experience across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Strong foundations in networking, operating systems, and security engineering.
- Experience in security operations, incident response, investigations, vulnerability analysis, and modern attack techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in multi-skilled teams.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and perform in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to analyse complex situations, balance risks, draw logical conclusions, and recommend effective security actions.
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience; Security+, CISSP, Azure, AWS, or similar certifications are desirable.
