Position Overview
Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CA-CIB) is seeking an experienced Structured Finance Director, Relationship Manager for its Transportation Group within the Energy and Real Assets Division in the Americas. The role focuses on developing and managing relationships with US and Latin American airlines, US aircraft leasing companies, and US rail operators to originate equipment financing opportunities and deliver comprehensive corporate banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with C-suite executives and treasury teams at major airlines, aircraft lessors, and rail companies across the US and Latin America.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for an assigned client portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and coordinate multi-product coverage initiatives.
- Lead client presentations and negotiations to originate, structure, and execute complex aircraft, engine, and rail financing transactions.
- Oversee credit proposals and presentations to credit committees.
- Collaborate with credit, legal, operations, and product teams to execute transactions.
- Monitor credit quality, manage risk exposure, conduct portfolio reviews, and maintain pipeline reporting.
- Contribute to junior team development, market intelligence, sector strategy, and annual business planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in transportation finance, equipment leasing, or corporate banking.
- Deep understanding of airline and aircraft leasing business models and aircraft and engine financing structures.
- Proven track record of originating and closing complex financing transactions of $50 million or more.
- Strong credit analysis, financial modeling, analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Fluency in English; Spanish is desirable.
- MBA is advantageous but not required.
Compensation
$250,000–$295,000.
