Store Manager - Ayala Malls Gatewalk Mandaue City, Cebu

Purpose/Mission

Drives store profitability by meeting or exceeding sales targets and controlling operational expenses; managing all resources within the store to provide customers with a leading shopping experience; and leading the execution of effective and efficient store operations.

Accountabilities

• Takes ownership of the store, allocates resources, and organizes processes to drive profitability in a variety of situations and market conditions.
• Uses knowledge of profit and loss statements and store KPIs to make commercially sound decisions.
• Tracks store performance data and responds with solutions that drive commercial success.
• Understands customer behavior and adapts the service offer accordingly.
• Monitors customer satisfaction and feedback systems to drive continuous improvement.
• Leads by example and ensures highly visible and effective customer service management.
• Builds a culture where store activity and assets showcase and drive brand equity.
• Transfers brand and product knowledge into sales skills across relevant categories.
• Maintains visual merchandising, housekeeping, stockroom, replenishment, and loss-prevention standards.
• Ensures compliance with store policies and procedures and suggests improvements to systems and processes.
• Manages recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of the store team.
• Creates a high-performance culture through clear expectations, targets, performance analysis, accountability, and feedback.
• Coaches, motivates, and inspires team members to accomplish store goals.
• Collaborates and shares best practices to drive team performance.
• Works with the Manager, Retail to identify strong performers with potential for growth.
• Is amenable to working at store locations across Metro Manila, including BGC, Makati, Quezon City, and Pasay City.

Compliance

Observes global and local policies and procedures, supports APAC changes and directions, and performs other assigned tasks.

Professional Background and Experience

• Minimum 18 months of experience in a sports or fashion customer- and commercial-focused retail environment.
• Minimum 24 months of Store Management responsibility.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills and advanced verbal communication skills.
• Experience in apparel, fashion, footwear, or FMCG retail.
• Related college degree.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Good command of oral and written English and Filipino.
