STAGE - Fund Accountant - Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions H/F

Job description

Within the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, you will join the Fund Accounting team, which is responsible for the accounting management of our clients. During your internship, you will participate in the following activities:

• Participating in the production of the net asset value (NAV) of alternative investment funds, mainly Private Equity funds.
• Contributing to fund accounting: recording routine transactions, bank reconciliations, calculating provisions, and processing transactions related to investments and investors.
• Entering capital calls, investor distributions and specific fees, including management fees and waterfalls.
• Participating in the audit process and annual closings by preparing documentation and responding to auditors and statutory auditors.
• Contributing to regulatory reporting, particularly reporting to the Central Bank of Luxembourg.
• Helping interpret fund legal documentation and the related accounting schemes.

Profile

• You are studying accounting or finance at a business school or university.
• You would like to complete a gap-year or final-year internship.
• You have advanced accounting knowledge and knowledge of the alternative investment fund environment.
• You are rigorous, analytical and a team player.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• You are fluent in French and English.
