Stage - Data Scientist H/F

The Direction des Relations avec les Caisses régionales acts on behalf of Crédit Agricole S.A. as the central body for the Regional Banks, covering governance, legal identity, and financial and commercial management.

Within the department, the pilotage and studies teams support Regional Bank executives in commercial and financial management. You will join the Etudes service within the Direction des Relations avec les Caisses régionales.

You will contribute to enriching market and customer knowledge analyses and improving tools through their optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI reports for the individual customer and specialized markets, working with business experts to meet Regional Bank needs.
• Build new databases.
• Create interactive reports adapted to user needs.
• Write technical documentation.
• Conduct a statistical study of the entrepreneurs market using data from internal databases.
• Model the target population using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
• Validate models to ensure the robustness of estimates and document the methodology and results for future reuse.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing reports and reporting processes within the department.

Requirements

• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Technical curiosity and initiative.
• Analytical rigor, team spirit, and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Interest in the banking sector.
• Ability to listen, analyze, and explain technical IT processes.

Additional information

The company will pay an intern allowance if the internship lasts more than two consecutive months. Starting date: 04/01/2027. Duration: 6 months. Minimum study level: 1-year Master's (M1). Training/specialization: Data, Finance. Minimum experience: 0–2 years.

IT tools: Power BI, Python, SAS Viya, and Microsoft Office.
