Mercedes pay is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG with offices in Berlin, Stuttgart, and Farmington Hills, USA. It operates in more than 40 countries and supports transaction processing for Mercedes-Benz products and services.

Your responsibilities

• Assess current systems, infrastructure, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compatibility with new solutions.
• Collect and analyze stakeholder requirements to define solution scope and objectives.
• Architect the Mercedes Pay Digital Voucher Solution, detailing structure, components, interfaces, and data flows, and select suitable technologies, platforms, and tools.
• Create proof-of-concept projects to validate solutions and demonstrate feasibility.
• Work with Solution Architects and Enterprise, Cloud, and Security Architects to derive right-fit solutions.
• Facilitate collaboration with external development teams and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Communicate technical details effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document solutions and disseminate best practices among team members.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong focus on software product development.
• Practical experience in regulatory environments, agentic commerce, loyalty programs, vouchers, digital marketing, or payments, including PCI DSS, PSD2/SCA, or AML/KYC.
• Proficiency in microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and CI/CD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Domain-Driven Design, and DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, GitHub, and Datadog.
• Experience implementing cutting-edge technologies in a corporate environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a strong plus.
