About Mercedes pay
Mercedes pay is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG with offices in Berlin, Stuttgart, and Farmington Hills, USA. It operates in more than 40 countries and supports transaction processing for Mercedes-Benz products and services.
Your responsibilities
- Assess current systems, infrastructure, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compatibility with new solutions.
- Collect and analyze stakeholder requirements to define solution scope and objectives.
- Architect the Mercedes Pay Digital Voucher Solution, detailing structure, components, interfaces, and data flows, and select suitable technologies, platforms, and tools.
- Create proof-of-concept projects to validate solutions and demonstrate feasibility.
- Work with Solution Architects and Enterprise, Cloud, and Security Architects to derive right-fit solutions.
- Facilitate collaboration with external development teams and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
- Communicate technical details effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Document solutions and disseminate best practices among team members.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong focus on software product development.
- Practical experience in regulatory environments, agentic commerce, loyalty programs, vouchers, digital marketing, or payments, including PCI DSS, PSD2/SCA, or AML/KYC.
- Proficiency in microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and CI/CD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Domain-Driven Design, and DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, GitHub, and Datadog.
- Experience implementing cutting-edge technologies in a corporate environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a strong plus.
