Objective of job
As Solution Architect of MB.OS E2E Software Journey & Toolchain, you will be responsible for toolchain architecture design, system and algorithm development, and engineering delivery to meet IT R&D China business needs across autonomous driving systems, infotainment, ASPICE software lifecycle development, and MB.OS E2E software journey topics.
You will develop IT toolchain solutions based on business requirements and industry standards, communicate effectively with R&D partners, and collaborate with IT colleagues on architecture principles, technology levers, AI, and other technology topics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Automation, Vehicle Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in the automotive industry, including 3+ years providing IT solutions preferred.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering toolchain solutions for software journeys, ASPICE toolchains, autonomous driving, robotics simulation systems, AI, or related areas.
- Solid software engineering and architecture design capabilities.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments and proficiency in at least one programming language such as C++ or Python.
- Experience designing and delivering complex systems.
- Understanding of autonomous driving technology stacks, including planning, perception, localization, control, E2E, VLA, and simulation.
- Familiarity with autonomous driving data formats and middleware such as ROS, rosbag, and Cyber Record.
- Experience with cloud computing, cloud-based platform architectures, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- AI knowledge and hands-on experience, such as agent applications.
- Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, and ASPICE.
- Strong motivation, ownership, result orientation, big-picture thinking, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Chinese; German is a bonus.
