Software Engineer II, Design Engineering – Nike

NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II to join Consumer Product & Innovation Design Engineering. The team builds software tools and systems that enable end-to-end product creation at speed and scale, supporting designers, artists, developers and engineers with integrated tools for managing and sharing visual assets.

Who You Will Work With

You will work with a team of software engineers and partner with product managers, business users and engineers across Consumer Product & Innovation.

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education, training and experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on development experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS products, including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, OpenSearch and S3.
• Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer science fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting modern software architecture principles and patterns, including REST, domain-driven design and microservices.
• Experience implementing and integrating AI, machine learning and related data solutions is a plus.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What You’ll Work On

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to build tooling for enterprise-facing applications in Nike’s Design domain.

• Design, implement and test software solutions.
• Help define requirements with engineers and the product management team.
• Support internal production systems, including analyzing and resolving issues for end users and partner engineering teams.
