NIKE, Inc. is looking for an Engineering Manager for the NIKE STORES Engineering team. This leader will help build Retail Commerce and NIKE CASH product capabilities while fostering trust, collaboration, high performance, career growth, and team empowerment.
The Software Engineering Manager will provide strategic and technical leadership, manage development squads, partner with product and program teams, and balance near-term delivery with long-term technical investment. The role requires informed perspectives on AI and agentic engineering, architectural and platform trade-offs, business and commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate a complex matrixed organization.
What You Will Work On
- Provide engineering leadership and best practices to build platforms and deliver working software.
- Drive collaborative design, code, test plan, and dataset reviews.
- Lead DevOps excellence, including continuous integration and deployment, test automation, instrumentation, observability, service-level agreements, high availability, and operational metrics.
- Disseminate technical knowledge through user groups, technical talks, design reviews, and internal blogs.
- Own resource plans, team composition, hiring decisions, mentoring, performance reviews, and performance management.
- Partner with product teams at Nike World Headquarters and the India Tech Center to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions, systems, and services.
- Collaborate with technical teams across geographies to develop integrations supporting a seamless flow from planning to delivery.
- Lead squads innovating, architecting, designing, and implementing highly available and scalable systems for visible marketing initiatives.
