Senior Software Development Engineer

Digital & Technology is an integral division of HEINEKEN Global Shared Services Center, committed to making Heineken the most connected brewery through digitalized processes, best-in-class technology, and a data-driven culture.

The Commerce DevOps Hub in Kraków engineers the software powering HEINEKEN’s e-Commerce operations. As a Senior Software Development Engineer (.NET MAUI / Xamarin + Azure), you will join the Sales Back Office team and configure, develop, implement, and integrate solutions based on .NET technologies and Azure cloud services. You will also support the MAUI SEM Pro application.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and deliver IT solutions using .NET MAUI, Xamarin, and Azure.
• Customize, configure, and engineer mobile and cross-platform applications.
• Address technical debt and solve immediate technical challenges.
• Integrate solutions with HEINEKEN systems and data sources.
• Follow solution standards and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Development Leads, Product Owners, and the Engineering Manager.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge-transfer processes.
• Help define technical strategy and align architecture with business objectives.

Experience and qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience.
• Enterprise experience with .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin.Forms for cross-platform mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of C#, XAML, MVVM, dependency injection, and mobile application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, App Services, and Storage.
• Experience with REST, Web API, OData, CI/CD pipelines, Git, SQL Server, or Azure SQL.
• Understanding of mobile application security, OAuth2, Azure AD/B2C, and access control.
• Knowledge of OOP, SOLID, KISS, and DRY principles.
• Experience working in Agile environments and with diverse engineering teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Desirable experience

• Migrating Xamarin.Forms applications to .NET MAUI.
• Application Insights, monitoring, analytics, and offline/online synchronization patterns.
• Mobile UI/UX optimization, performance tuning, and mobile test automation.
• Enterprise integration with Dynamics 365 and data privacy or GDPR compliance.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly desirable.
