Manage and deliver mid-scale Distribution & Supply Chain projects valued below €5 million, or sub-elements of larger projects, at a local, global, or Europe-region level across brands and functions while meeting time, cost, quality, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage global, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion using standardized project-management methodologies.
  • Develop project plans, coordinate people and resources, monitor costs, scope, effort, quality, and KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage change activities, project dependencies, risk resolution, formal closure, handover, and project documentation.
  • Form, lead, coach, develop, and allocate work to multifunctional internal and external project teams.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Management, Technology, business units, Finance, Supplier Management, and external providers on third-party logistics warehousing and transport projects.
  • Establish project controlling, track budgets and monthly accruals, report variances, and ensure accurate invoicing and compliance with adidas standards.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders and support the resolution of conflicts and escalations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong project management, analytical, communication, facilitation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with complex global distribution, third-party logistics warehousing, transport, and Distribution Center projects.
  • Ability to work across international cultures, manage several projects simultaneously, and travel up to 50% of working time.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college or university degree focused on Supply Chain Management or a related area, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Six to eight years of progressive experience in mid- to large-scale logistics or transport project or program management.
  • One to two years of team-management experience; PMI or project-management certification is desirable.
