Senior Microsoft Exchange Engineer with German

We are looking for a Senior Technical Engineer to join our team and support the daily operations, administration, and maintenance of the Microsoft Exchange Server environment. In this role, you will work independently while collaborating closely with the team in Austria. German will be the primary language used when providing support.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the MXS infrastructure, including Microsoft Exchange Server, SMTP services, Proofpoint mail transfer systems, and MXS Active Directory.
• Manage DisclaimIT, including updates to email titles, banners, and links.
• Handle ServiceNow tickets related to the supported services.
• Perform user and mailbox administration.
• Process and fulfil requests submitted through ANDIS, the customer-owned request management tool.
• Execute and document Disaster Recovery tests.
• Implement approved changes in the MXS environment in accordance with established change management procedures.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience in administering and supporting Microsoft Exchange Server environments.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, including the ability to understand and modify existing scripts.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Customer-focused and proactive approach to daily operations and support.
• Willingness to collaborate closely with an international team based in Austria.
• Fluent German and English, with German being the primary support language.
