Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
As a core business partner, lead the most accurate demand plan for all channels and ensure the top-down demand plan is aligned with channel targets and GCA strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate account ambition to buy guidance based on net sales and sell-out targets for accounts.
- Generate account demand rolling plans and liaise with Channel to coordinate demand planning activities for smooth channel execution.
- Identify buffer-buy opportunities early, such as products that sell well and customer feedback.
- Support and facilitate mitigation planning by category and account for OTB gaps.
- Provide inputs to SP milestones representing channel and account demand requirements.
- Provide an omnichannel view across operating models, such as ReAct and FCC, and facilitate buy decisions.
- Support regular reporting on category and channel alignment while providing robust heatmap tracking.
- Review account inventory development against targets and sell-out.
- Monitor account inventory development and initiate cross-channel inventory transfers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Planning function or account management experience with a proven track record of successfully managing planning in a large sales organization.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and facilitation skills.
- High personal impact and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and methodological skills, including data analysis and trend forecasting.
- Commercial and business acumen to challenge and drive consensus between Sales and Marketing.
- Proven leadership and managerial skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
Education and Experience
- Minimum five years of planning or account management experience within a large sales organization.
- Preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry.
- Experience successfully leading, managing, and developing a team, if applicable.
- Business degree from a leading business school.
