Who You Will Work With

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and peers within the engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of solutions. You will also work with technology teams leading upstream and downstream solutions to coordinate dependencies.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek passionate engineers to join our team. As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will influence and develop robust machine learning and generative AI solutions that have a direct impact on the business.

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, a master’s degree in a related engineering field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or related fields
• Expertise in MLOps and the machine learning development lifecycle from experimentation to production and measurement
• Proficiency writing robust, maintainable, and extendable Python code, containerized in Docker and automated with CI/CD
• Familiarity with Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
• Expertise with Amazon Web Services, especially ECR, SageMaker, Lambda, and API Gateway
• Familiarity with Airflow or Databricks Workflows
• Expertise in data structures, data modeling, software architecture, complex datasets, ETL pipelines, SQL, and data engineering
• Experience with Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Databricks, or Terraform is highly desirable
• Strong analytical, communication, agile development, test-driven development, technical leadership, and mentoring skills

What You Will Work On

You will work with Nike’s Corporate Functions Artificial Intelligence team to deliver AI capabilities for Nike’s corporate functions. You will design and implement scalable applications that leverage prediction models and optimization programs to deliver data-driven decisions and contribute to advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI platforms and tools.

The team is globally distributed and works in a collaborative, academic environment focused on developing and sharing skills, mentoring, and contributing knowledge and software to analytics and engineering communities.
