Senior Ethical Trade Executive – Global Ethical Assurance Audit

About the role

Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability at Primark is responsible for supporting the company’s social and sustainability commitments as part of the Primark Cares strategy. You’ll collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to help ensure social compliance, environmental sustainability and legislative requirements are met.

What you’ll do

• Own day-to-day analysis, recording and reporting for Primark’s Global Social Audit Assurance Programme.
• Work cross-functionally with Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability, Central Support, regional teams, the CR Hub, Legal, and People & Culture.
• Support implementation of company policies, standards and reporting requirements for social audits.
• Define and strengthen governance, accountability and oversight frameworks for the global social audit programme.
• Identify audit training and awareness needs and coordinate regional delivery.
• Develop KPIs and performance metrics to support programme management and continuous improvement.
• Lead programme monitoring activities, including quarterly reviews, risk assessments, due diligence checks and escalation of risks or issues.

What you’ll bring

• At least 5 years’ experience in an ESG social analytics or social compliance role.
• Strong understanding of social audit protocols, benchmarks and assurance programmes.
• Experience managing social compliance processes, developing process flows, procedures and KPIs, and translating data into actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across functions and seniority levels.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience producing clear, business-focused reports.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• A collaborative, personable and proactive approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
