Your Role
As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the software development team and will be responsible for delivering, managing, and maintaining a DevOps environment, including CI/CD, configuration management, and release automation for in-house eazle products. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Product Architects, and software engineering teams to translate technical and business needs into improvements to the DevOps landscape and services.
Responsibilities
- Work with software developers, QAs, system administrators, network engineers, and other staff to improve delivery processes and oversee code releases and deployments.
- Contribute to configuration and release automation across multiple teams.
- Enhance end-to-end development processes and ensure platform reliability and availability.
- Develop, maintain, and document automated CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software applications.
- Support and improve build and release processes through automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Establish standards and guidelines for software and infrastructure configuration.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Recommend and implement system enhancements, including installation, patching, monitoring, problem resolution, configuration management, and security.
- Contribute to fault-tolerant architectures and rapid recovery mechanisms.
- Evaluate trade-offs between performance, scalability, cost, and time-to-market.
- Help build and scale the infrastructure of the delivery platform.
- Automate and improve the infrastructure, architecture, and monitoring supporting development, testing, and production.
- Be present in the office a minimum of five days per month.
Technology Stack
Mandatory: AKS/Kubernetes; Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud; Infrastructure as Code, preferably Bicep; Bash and PowerShell scripting; Node.js and Python; YAML pipelines, branching, and pull request policies; GraphQL/Apollo Federation.
Good to know: Other programming languages such as Go or Rust.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and eight or more years of overall IT experience.
- Experience designing, building, integrating, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, and Azure Pipelines.
- Hands-on experience managing, configuring, and maintaining Azure DevOps.
- Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Proficiency with version control systems, Git, branching, merging, pull requests, conflict resolution, and workflows.
- Experience with release management and integrating services such as monitoring and communication tools into pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Complex infrastructure, application, and automation troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving DevOps tools, technologies, and processes.
- A pragmatic and collaborative approach.
